TriumphX publishes NFT art in preparation for SPECIAL ARTS’ TAG100 solo exhibition (11/2 open)

TriumphX, a crosschain-based decentralized NFT platform developer, issues TAG100 (Lee Tae-gyu)’s works as NFTs to commemorate his individual exhibition. TAG100 (Lee Tae-gyu) is an artist belonging to SPECIAL ARTS, which supports fostering artists with developmental disabilities.

The theme of TAG100’s solo exhibition is ‘Car running around the World’, and this is the artist’s first solo exhibition that shows the artist’s development years. It reveals the changing world during the pandemic as the artist set the car as another self-object of his. A total of 4 works will be published, each with five editions.

The artist has been working for many years with a car as a main object. In his work process, he starts out as an object of his own pleasant sensory experience and gradually reveals his own world image in relation to that object. The works show from the early works, expressing the colorful spectrum of colors of automobiles, to this series, showing cars running towards the world. Through the car in the works, he travels around the world and shows a high-density insight into not only the city, but also roads and bridges, in the natural environment that comes into contact with the car’s trajectory.

Starting with the 3rd ULLIM exhibition <Facing through the Gap> in 2017, the artist participated in 13 exhibitions and won the 2019 Love Sharing Culture Festival Hap! Hap! Art Contest Encouragement Award.

TAG100’s NFT series can be found on the NFT publishing platform ENFTEE (enftee.com), and the individual exhibition of “Car running around the World’” can be found at two galleries: on the first basement floor of Heukseok Station and Dana Space 94 from November 2 to November 15.
